Central High School student in serious condition after stabbing at McDonald’s in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX – Two Central High School students were found dead Tuesday at the McDonald’s at 520 N. Bryant Blvd. stabbed.

According to San Angelo police, a 17-year-old is in serious condition while a 16-year-old is listed as stable.

A 16-year-old suspect was taken into police custody around 3:30 p.m

According to police, the incident probably started as a fight.

Our reporter saw one of the victims being carried out of McDonald’s on a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance.

Crime scene tape was then placed around the building while police began their investigation.

“In response to criminal activity at the McDonald’s near Central High School, San Angelo ISD took precautionary measures by briefly locking down the campus,” a statement from San Angelo ISD said. “The ban was lifted shortly afterwards. The San Angelo Police Department is conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident.”
