Deportations of convicted criminal migrants fell 74% under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, damning new figures show

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are deporting far fewer illegal immigrants even as border crossings are at an all-time high, according to shocking new data obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com.

The number of criminal illegal immigrants deported from the United States has fallen by 74 percent under the Biden-Harris administration, according to public figures first provided to DailyMail.com by the National Immigration Center for Enforcement.

Only 134,617 convicted criminal aliens have been deported in the last three fiscal years under the Biden-Harris administration, even as a flood of migrants continues to pour across the border.

Figures from U.S. Customs and Border Protection show more than 10.3 million encounters with migrants at America’s borders in the first three years of the Biden-Harris administration, not including the estimated more than 2 million migrants who managed to elude Border Patrol agents.

The numbers pose a problem for Harris, who was once dubbed the “border czar” after President Biden appointed her to lead the cause of migration and lead message on the border crisis.

Department of Homeland Security Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) told DailyMail.com that the numbers are concerning.

Trump has made the issue of illegal immigration and border controls a central part of his election campaign.

Green said that under Trump’s administration, immigration enforcement has been strengthened even as the number of border crossings has been reduced, making the country safer from criminal illegal immigrants.

The report shows that under Trump, 32 percent of the total number of encounters were removed from the United States. Under Biden and Harris, only 3.5 percent of people encountered at the border were deported.

“Biden and Harris have completely turned that record on its head.” “Under their watch, encounters have reached historic, sustained highs while distances have plummeted,” Green said.

The report shows that there were more encounters at the border in 2023 alone than during the entire Trump administration.
