Two state troopers were injured in a crash while pursuing a stolen car in Rochester; Suspects at large

ROCHESTER, NY – New York State Police are searching for the occupants of a stolen car that led troopers’ chase Monday night.

At approximately 6:15 p.m., police were pursuing a stolen Hyundai in the area of ​​Silver Street and Kensington Street in Rochester.

According to NYSP, a marked State Police car struck a tree during the pursuit. Two soldiers were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect vehicle, which had three people inside, continued driving and was found unoccupied in the driveway of a home on Superior Street.

None of the suspects have been located, but NYSP provided video that appears to show them dumping the vehicle.
