Five family members returning from Madrasa are killed in a tragic traffic accident

Hyderabad: A tragic road accident killed five members of the same family while they were returning home after picking up their grandson from a madrasa on vacation.

The accident occurred late at night near Meklagundi in Adilabad district of Telangana when their Suzuki pickup truck lost control and crashed into a divider. The accident was so serious that two people died on the spot while the remaining three succumbed to their injuries in hospital.

According to reports, Adilabad Jama Masjid President Abdul Muazzuddin was traveling in a Suzuki pickup along with his family members. They had gone to Bhainsa Mandal in Nirmal district to bring his grandson back after madrasa holidays. The accident occurred on the way back to Adilabad.

The deceased include 65-year-old Abdul Muazzzuddin, his 40-year-old son-in-law Khwaja Muinuddin, 11-year-old Muhammad Usmanuddin, 13-year-old Fareeduddin and 5-year-old Muhammad Ali.

Three other people, 38-year-old Ayesha Afreen, 8-year-old Iqra and 10-year-old Muhammad Saad, were critically injured in the accident. They were taken to RIMS Hospital in Adilabad for treatment by the police who reached the scene immediately.

The injured are currently receiving medical attention while the bodies of the deceased have been transferred to the mortuary.

The accident scene presented a heartbreaking scene that left the community in shock and grief. The local police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the accident.

This unfortunate incident highlights the increasing concern about road safety and vehicle control, particularly on highways. Authorities have urged motorists to exercise caution and remain vigilant to avoid such tragic accidents in the future.
