A man who worked for DoorDash was shot and killed in Philadelphia’s East Mount Airy area, police said

A 29-year-old man who worked for DoorDash was shot Monday in Philadelphia’s East Mount Airy neighborhood, police said.

According to police, the shooting occurred in the 1500 block of East Johnson Street just before 5 p.m.

Police said the 29-year-old man was shot once in the lower left side of his back. He was taken to Einstein Hospital and listed in critical condition.

So far, no weapons have been seized and no arrests have been made, the police said.
