The Meridian Police Department has welcomed two new officers to protect and serve the community.

MERIDIAN, Miss. – The Meridian Police Department has welcomed two new officers to protect and serve the community.

Casey Vanderslice (left) is a veteran police officer who previously served with the Moss Point Police Department.

Matthew James is a recent graduate of the Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Academy.
