Members of Lettuce will perform on “Colbert” tonight with Louis Cato and The Late Show Band

Tonight, Monday September 30th, members of Lettuce including Nigel Hall (vocals, Hammond B-3, Rhodes, clavinet, keyboards), Ryan Zoidis (alto, baritone, tenor saxophone, Korg X-911) and Eric “Benny” Bloom (trumpet, horns) appears The Late Show with Stephen Colbertwhere they will support Louis Cato and The Late Show Band in the musical implementation of the program. The show airs at 11:35 a.m. EST on CBS and streams tomorrow on Paramount+ and YouTube.

The band members’ late-night appearance comes after Lettuce took part in a weekend residency at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl on Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29. During Lettuce’s performances in the Big Apple, Tedeschi Trucks Band singer Alecia Chakour appeared on Funk Meister while they were in town to perform alongside Derek and Susan at The Beacon and King’s Theater.

After Lettuce’s stay in New York, the members will take a break from the stage before resuming their schedule for two concerts with STS9 at the Radius in Chicago in mid-October. To close out the month, they will perform at the Suwannee Hulaween. The band’s final dates of 2024 take them to Seattle for three nights at Dimitrious’s Jazz Alley, November 7-10.
