Lil Reese was arrested for allegedly assaulting an ex-girlfriend and bond was rejected

Lil Reese was arrested after a warrant was issued for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend.

TMZ reports that the 31-year-old rapper was arrested at The Address nightclub in Houston, Texas in the early hours of Monday morning (September 30). He was charged with aggravated assault on a family member or household member, according to arrest records. Specifically, the rapper is accused of strangling and beating a woman described as his former girlfriend.

Eyewitnesses said Houston police were present at the nightclub and handcuffed him. He was denied bail.

In a statement, his lawyer Carl Moore protested his client’s innocence. “Mr Taylor vehemently denies these false allegations. We look forward to his day in court,” Moore said.

Earlier this month, Houston police issued an arrest warrant in connection with the alleged Pinkhouse assault. She claimed he tried to kiss her when they met, but she rejected his repeated advances. In response, he allegedly grabbed her by the neck and punched her. A friend witnessed the incident and asked security to intervene. Officers noted that she had scratches on her fingernails and redness on her neck.

Reese was accused of rape earlier this year, which he also denied. In his response, he called the allegations “borderline” and said the woman was seeking “influence.” He was arrested in connection with these allegations and released after posting $100,000 bail. The charges were reportedly dismissed.
