The report provides an update on the Broncos player who had a frightening incident on the sideline

Denver Broncos running back Tyler Badie suffered a scary health scare during Sunday’s game against the New York Jets, but it sounds like he’s doing well given the circumstances.

Badie suffered a powerful hit from Quincy Williams, the Jets’ own power linebacker, in the second quarter of the Broncos’ 10-9 win over New York at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. He then dropped to one knee on the sideline before lying flat on his back.

Trainers and medical staff rushed to care for Badie. The former Missouri player appeared to move his limbs but was placed on a backboard and taken off the field.

The Broncos have officially ruled out Badie for the remainder of the game with a back injury. On Monday, NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported that Badie had “full movement in his arms and legs” and could fly back to Denver. The third-year defenseman could spend some time on injured reserve because of a back injury, but he has a chance to return later in the season.

Badie was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. The Broncos released him from Baltimore’s practice squad at the end of last season. Badie was on Denver’s practice squad for most of last year and early this season before being promoted in Week 2.
