Motorcyclist killed in Hillcrest crash

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — According to Mobile Police, officers responded to a traffic collision on Hillcrest Road near Sugar Creek Drive N on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at approximately 8:09 p.m.

When officers arrived, they discovered a motorcyclist who died at the scene of the accident.

Upon further investigation, officers determined that a vehicle traveling northbound on Hillcrest Road was attempting to turn onto Sugar Creek Drive N when the motorcycle traveling southbound on Hillcrest Road struck the vehicle.

The victim was identified as Robert McKeough, 34. The investigation is still ongoing.
