Woman killed in New Bedford stabbing is ‘missing more than words can ever say’

A 31-year-old Dartmouth woman killed in a stabbing in New Bedford last week was noted in her obituary for her smile that could “light up any room.”

Kerri Fidalgo was found with stab wounds in her apartment at 86 Atlantic St. in New Bedford on Sept. 20. Tyler Dow Baglini of Dartmouth is charged with murder in connection with Fidalgo’s death.

In her obituary, Fidalgo’s family described her as a “humane person” who made friends wherever she went. After graduating from high school, Fidalgo attended Nichols College and earned a degree in business administration.
