Police are investigating the shooting on Greenmount Avenue

On September 27th at approximately 4:00 p.m., North District patrol officers were patrolling the 2500 block of Greenmount Avenue when they saw an unknown man lying on the ground.

Baltimore Police Department officers conducted a condition check and determined that the 49-year-old male victim appeared to be suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. The victim’s condition is critical but stable.

Northern District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and took control of the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Northern District Shooting Detectives at 410-396-2455.
