Actor Parvin Dabas reveals his elder son believed he had died after tragic…

Parvin Dabas talks about his family’s recovery after an accidental injury

Actor Parvin Dabas was in a horrific car accident on September 21 that sent him to the intensive care unit. Luckily, he was released on September 25 and shared how the experience changed his outlook. He also mentioned that his elder son Jaiveer mistakenly believed he had died based on a friend’s text message.

Parvin shared that he and his wife Preeti Jhangiani did not inform their children about the accident; Instead, they found out from friends. “My older son received a message from his friend: ‘I’m sorry to hear about your father.’ And he thought I died. Then Preeti told them about the accident and my condition and calmed him down. The incident helped me appreciate my life and my family more,” Dabas told Bombay Times.

My Name Is Khan actor Parvin also spoke about his wife’s unwavering support during this challenging time and said, “Preeti has been a solid support. She managed to deal with the situation well.” Doctors are currently advising Parvin to rest for at least 10 days. He mentioned taking medication for dizziness and difficulty standing without feeling dizzy.

During the interview, Dabas narrated the horrific event that took place at Hill Road while he was driving home from office in Khar around 5 am. He mentioned that he was found unconscious by two boys who helped him to the sidewalk. They immediately called an ambulance and he was quickly taken to a nearby hospital.

Parvin advised that due to the bright lights of the vehicle on the opposite side of the street, he was unable to see the divider and collided with it. He stressed the importance of raising awareness of the dangers of driving with high beams on. “When driving with my wife, I often told her that such high lights can lead to accidents. That day, when I was returning from work and not driving too fast, the accident happened,” concluded Dabas.
