Maserati arrives at the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show

At the Monaco Yacht Show 2024 Maserati has introduced its all-electric model motorboat TRIDENTE as well as its rose gold ConvertibleGranCabrio Folgore. The Italian car manufacturer is using Port Hercule, where the international boat show is taking place, to present its two latest creations. For the all-electric motorboat TRIDENTE, they collaborated with Modena-based Vita Power, a marine technology company engaged in the production of all-electric powertrains and yachts.

For the GranCabrio Folgore, which titles the first 100 percent electric convertible In the market, Maserati uses its 800V technology to increase its power and performance. The electric watercraft and convertible will be on display at the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show from September 25th to 28th. During this time, visitors can take a closer look at the design of the vehicles as well as the technology used by the car manufacturer.

Fully electric motorboat TRIDENTE from Maserati

Maserati’s fully electric motorboat TRIDENTE is a “day boat”. It is made of carbon fiber and was finished by the craftsmen at Hodgdon Yachts. Up to 10 passengers can board and ride watercraftand its cockpit is reconfigurable. Here the owner can convert it into a dining area and an acceleration cabin for cruising. Although it looks compact from a distance, it has a bathing area with a shower. There is also an enclosed cabin on board with a day bed or temporary docking space and a toilet.

Passengers who want to go swimming can enter the sea via the ladder or simply dive from the bow, where the trident symbol of the electric motorboat is carved into the wooden material. TRIDENTE is a 10.5 meter long electric motorboat with a maximum power of 600 HP and a battery capacity of 252 kWh. Maserati says it offers a cruising speed of 25 knots, a top speed of 40 knots and can be charged using DC power in under an hour.

GranCabrio Folgore convertible with rose gold body

The TRIDENTE electric motorboat is not the only one at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024. It will be joined by Maserati’s GranCabrio Folgore, its 100 percent electric convertible. It boasts a rose gold bodywork that subtly contrasts with the watercraft’s carbon fiber skin. The automaker first introduced the open convertible in April 2024 and brought it to the Monaco Yacht Show for the first time. During the event, visitors can view the Titan Gray canvas and retractable canopy, as well as the ECONYL Denim and Ice interior.

The electric convertible delivers an adrenaline rush with a speed of 290 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds. It features Maserati’s 800V technology and is powered by three 300kW permanent magnet motors. These motors can be optimized for maximum range as the driver can configure options while driving, including the drive and specific parameters and energy saving modes. When these are active, the GranCabrio Folgore can boast a range of up to 447 km.
