We will not leave Israel’s criminal acts unanswered

Iran will not leave any of Israel’s “criminal acts” unanswered, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said on Monday, referring to the killing of the Hezbollah chief and a deputy commander of the Iranian Guard in Lebanon.
Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoushan was killed on Friday in Israeli strikes on Beirut that also killed Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Reuters reported.
Israel’s increased attacks on the Hezbollah militia in Lebanon and the Houthi militia in Yemen have raised fears that fighting in the Middle East could spiral out of control and attract Iran and the United States, Israel’s key ally.
“We stand strong and will act regretfully.” [for the enemy]Kanaani said at a weekly news conference, adding that Iran does not seek war but is not afraid of it.
Kanaani said Iran was closely following matters with the Lebanese authorities, citing the attacks that killed Nasrallah and Nilforoushan.
