A person was found shot to death inside a vehicle after a crash on Winton Road, police said

CINCINNATI (WXIX) — One person is dead after a shooting and vehicle crash near Cincinnati’s border with Springfield Parish, Cincinnati police said.

It happened just after 10 p.m. Sunday on Winton Road at North Bend Road.

According to police, someone in a vehicle was shot and then crashed into another vehicle at the intersection.

The vehicle continued driving before crashing again, this time in front of a cosmetics store.

The person in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Winton Road at North Bend Road is closed until further notice.

Cincinnati and Springfield Township police responded.

The Cincinnati Police Homicide Unit is investigating.

Shortly after 11:30 p.m. Sunday, a national broadcast aired on police radio asking police to be on the lookout for a white Ford Explorer involved in the shooting.
