Shots were fired on the Buffalo State campus near Rees Street

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo State University officials are searching for two people they say fired shots on campus early Saturday morning.

According to university police, this happened just before 2 a.m. in one of the campus parking lots near Rees Street.

According to authorities, the suspects chased two other people into the parking lot and fired their weapons. Both groups then left the campus.

No injuries were reported, but none of those involved have come forward to speak with officials. They are increasing patrols in the area for Sunday night.
