Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been taken off suicide watch as he prepares for his trial on sex trafficking charges.

“He is focused and very strong,” a lawyer for the embattled music mogul told People Sunday. “He is focused on his defense and preparing for his trial.”

A source also told the outlet that Combs and his family visited the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he is currently incarcerated on sex trafficking, extortion and solicitation for prostitution charges.

Page Six confirmed that Combs is being housed in a dormitory at the detention center.

The disgraced rapper was placed on suicide watch after a judge denied him bail following his arrest on September 16.

At the time, insiders told People that the decision was “a precautionary measure as Combs is in shock and his mental status is unclear.”

The U.S. Department of Justice’s National Institute of Corrections defines suicide monitoring as “supervisory precautions for suicidal inmates that require frequent observation.”

Combs, 54, was arrested months after Department of Homeland Security raids on his homes in Miami and Los Angeles, during which police allegedly found drugs and more than 1,000 bottles of lubricant, according to the indictment.

The indictment also accused the Bad Boy Records founder of “forming a criminal enterprise whose members and employees … engaged in sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice.”

The “I’ll Be Missing You” rapper pleaded not guilty to the charges.

During the recent TMZ documentary “The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment,” Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo said the father of seven is “eager to tell his story.”

Agnifilo added that the music mogul’s “state of mind is actually remarkably positive” and “he [has] Coming to terms with the fact that he’s here now.”

Combs has faced ongoing legal problems since his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura accused him of rape and sexual abuse in a November 2023 lawsuit, including allegedly forcing him to have sex with male prostitutes.

The exes settled the lawsuit a day later and Combs denied any wrongdoing.

“Mr. Combs’ decision to settle the lawsuit in no way undermines his categorical denial of the claims,” his attorney wrote in a statement to Page Six.

“He is pleased that they have reached an amicable agreement and wishes Ms. Ventura all the best.”
