Hazelwood police are investigating after a man was found dead in his home

HAZELWOOD, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Hazelwood police are investigating after a man was found dead inside a home Saturday.

Police said police were called to a home in the 200 block of Connolly Drive for a welfare check around 8 a.m. Saturday morning. Police said they were told a crime may have occurred at the home hours earlier.

After obtaining a search warrant, police entered the home and found a man dead of unknown causes.

This was the first of two homicides police had to investigate Saturday. Twelve hours later, police were called to an apparent shooting that left a man dead.
