The nationally ranked, undefeated Hope College football team will host the nationally ranked radio program “The Huge Show” on Monday, September 30th at the Jim Heeringa Athletic Center.

Hosted by Bill Simonson, “The Huge Show” airs from 3 to 6 p.m. and features interviews with the head coach Peter Stuursma and select Flying Dutchmen football student-athletes.

The broadcast will also promote the Purple Community football game against Trine University this weekend. Kick-off is on Saturday, October 5th at 1pm at the Ray and Sue Smith Stadium.

Hope is off to a 4-0 start and is ranked 23rd in this week’s D3football.com poll. On Saturday, the Flying Dutchmen defeated two-time defending MIAA champion Alma College 34-13 on the road.

Tickets can be purchased through the Hope College Ticket Office online or by calling (616) 395-7890 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays, or in person at 100 East Eighth St.

Purple Community is the Van Andel Institute’s dynamic community outreach and fundraising program that connects individuals, schools, teams, businesses and corporations who want to join the fight against cancer and neurodegenerative diseases with the resources needed to take action.

One hundred percent of the proceeds go toward providing internships for Hope students at the Van Andel Institute.

“The Huge Show” can be heard in Holland on 99.7 FM and 1450 WHTC.
