PHOTOS: Super Chevy Show Racing at the Rock

Bad Bowties raced around the quarter-mile track at Rockingham Dragway this weekend for the annual Super Chevy Show.

Racing got off to a hot start on Saturday in the first Jet Car Showdown when the rear of the Black Pearl caught fire, resulting in the Quatermaster winning the first heat.

However, the Black Pearl was back in action during the third and final round of the day.

Although most of the cars and trucks in attendance were General Motors machines, there were also a few Ford Mustangs and dragsters.
