1 man dead, another injured after shooting near Canoga Park apartments – Press-Telegram

One man was killed and another injured in a shooting near some homes in Canoga Park, authorities said Sunday.

The shooting happened around 11:40 p.m. Saturday in the 8300 block of Northgate Avenue, near the intersection of Roscoe and Topanga Canyon boulevards, according to Officer Rosario Cervantes of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division.

Paramedics took both men to a hospital, where a 19-year-old man was pronounced dead and another man had stable vital signs.

The name of the deceased man was not immediately released.

The police had no motive or information about the suspect.
