Four people are injured in a two-car accident in Finlayson

Authorities responded to a two-vehicle accident in Finlayson on the afternoon of September 29th.

According to reports, a Ford truck was traveling west on Highway 18 through Finlayson shortly before 1:45 p.m. when the driver attempted to make a left turn. The Ford crashed into an oncoming Honda Civic on Highway 18, causing several injuries.

The Honda was carrying four passengers, three of them children. All four were taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. According to authorities, the driver of the pickup was not injured. Alcohol is not believed to have been a cause of the accident.

Responding agencies include the Minnesota State Patrol, Finlayson Fire and Essentia Ambulance.
