Thompson RCMP searching for male suspect after shots fired – Winnipeg Free Press

Thompson RCMP are searching for a 21-year-old suspect after two “targeted” shootings in the northern city Saturday night.

Mounties were called to a residence on Duke Place around 7 p.m. for a report of shots fired and found a home with a bullet hole through a window.

Less than an hour later, officers responded to a second report of shots fired near Brandon Crescent.

According to police, the shootings are believed to be targeted and related to an ongoing investigation into the male suspect, Tyrell Porter.

Porter is wanted on multiple firearms charges stemming from a previous shooting. Police say he may still be in the Thompson area and is considered armed and dangerous.
