Man dead after shooting in Biddeford, Maine – NECN

A man is dead after a shooting in Biddeford, Maine, Friday evening.

Biddeford police said they responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired on Foss Street around 10:53 p.m

Authorities said they found an injured man at the scene, identified as 46-year-old Gene Dares of Biddeford.

According to police, Dares was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to authorities, the cause of death was homicide.

The incident is under investigation
