Electrocution: Tragic electrocution claims lives of father, son and relatives in Kolhapur | Kolhapur News

Kolhapur: Three people including a 13-year-old boy and his father from Mhaisal town Sangli districtwas electrocuted three-phase live cable on Sunday afternoon.
According to police, Parishnath Vhanmore (40) and his son Sairaj had gone to the farm to collect grass to feed their livestock. A three-phase power cable had fallen into a nearby waterlogged farm. As they were leaving the farm, both Parishnath and Sairaj were electrocuted.
Later, Parishnath’s other son Hemant and his brother Pradip (35) reached there. Pradip also got electrocuted when he touched their bodies while Hemant was being rescued.
Hemant is injured and is currently undergoing treatment. District Guardian Minister Suresh Khade later visited the spot and announced assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to the kin of the deceased.
