Was Spotify down? Music streaming issues have been reported

Spotify appeared to be having problems with its music streaming services on Sunday morning.

An increase in defaults DownDetector reported began around 10:30 a.m. ET and reports continue to pour in several hours later.

Shortly after 12:15 p.m. ET, the X account, which provides updates on Spotify’s current status, tweeted that the company was currently aware of some issues and was investigating them.

Spotify also caused problems for those who tried it on FOX Television Stations.

Songs couldn’t be played in the app and the website version gave a “page unavailable” message.

Shortly after 1:30 p.m. ET, Spotify announced that the issues had been resolved.
