A man died after being stabbed during a fight between Miami and Dade in the northwest, police said. Two are in custody

A fight quickly escalated into a fatal knife attack early Saturday in northwest Miami-Dade County, police said.

At approximately 3:25 a.m., Miami-Dade Police were called to reports of a stabbing in the 14600 block of Northwest 185th Street. Officers found a man with stab wounds, police said.

He was flown to HCA Aventura Hospital in critical condition and died. The police took two unknown people into custody; The charges they could face are unclear.

Initial investigations revealed that the knife victim and two other people were involved in a fight. One of these two people pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim.

The investigation is ongoing.
