Call for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted in Morrisons

Police are appealing for victims and witnesses to come forward after a woman was sexually assaulted in Morrisons.

This morning, Sunday September 29th, at around 11.50am a woman in her 30s was sexually assaulted at Morrison’s on Station Way West.

A 21-year-old man from Aylesbury has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and remains in custody.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Mark Banham said: “I understand that this incident may be of concern but I would like to reassure the public that we are investigating this incident as a priority and have already made an arrest.”

“We are aware that other similar offenses may have occurred and believe there may be other victims today who have been sexually abused in a similar manner.”

“We would urge anyone who believes they have been a victim to contact us.
