La Salle police investigating suspected stabbing early Sunday | 103.9 WLPO

An unidentified teenager is at OSF St. Francis this morning – an apparent victim of a stabbing early Sunday in La Salle. A statement from La Salle police said they were dispatched to 9^Th and Lafayette just after 1:40 a.m. Upon arrival, officers saw several people standing around and found a 17-year-old male with a stab wound to the left side of his torso. Help was provided immediately. The victim was taken to OSF Peru and later flown to Peoria.

There were no arrests. The circumstances of the incident are not fully known. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Commander Martin of the La Salle Police Department at 223-2131.
