NBC’s “Chicago” drama returns with new cast members Dermot Mulroney and Sarah Ramos

(NBC) – NBC’s trio of “Chicago” dramas returns for new seasons on Wednesday and welcomes some new cast members.

Some returning stars talked about the new season and the “back to school” atmosphere. For cast members David Eigenberg, LaRoyce Hawkins and Jessy Schram of NBC’s “One Chicago” dramas “Fire,” “PD” and “Med,” Wednesday is like the first day of school.

“New erasers, new pencils, I got a protractor this year,” Eigenberg joked.

“Did you get new clothes?” Schram asked Eigenberg.

“No old clothes,” Eigenberg replied.

Hawkins said he was committed to getting his character Atwater new clothes.

“If you don’t bother to disrupt the rhythm,” Hawkins said. “They’ll give you the same outfit.”

On the other hand, at Chicago Med, the peels don’t change that much.

“So all we can do is basically request new shoes, I guess, and I didn’t do that at all last season,” Schram said. “I had the same thing every day.”

But with the new season on Wednesday comes a change.

“I got to visit the writers’ room last week and hearing about what’s ahead, it’ll be really interesting to see how they get on [script this season]said Schram.

Sarah Ramos joins “Med” as one of the new doctors and Dermot Mulroney is the new boss on “Chicago Fire”.

“And luckily for us, he’s an evolved David Eigenberg,” Chicago Fire’s Joe Minoso said.

And Eigenberg can handle a little variety well.

The kickoff time has been adjusted for the Ohio State-Michigan State game on Peacock

“You haven’t seen the same faces in 13 seasons. “I’m like, ugh,” Eigenberg said, putting his face in his hands for Schram, who joined the cast of “Med” in 2020.

The One Chicago family remains strong for the new season.

NBC’s “Chicago” broadcasts begin with “Med” at 8 p.m., “Fire” at 9 p.m. and “PD” at 10 p.m. on NBC4.
