Tragic incident: Two teenagers drown in mine in Madhya Pradesh

In a tragic turn of events, two teenagers died in a water-filled pit in a mine in Neemuch district of Madhya Pradesh on Sunday, local police reported.

According to sub-inspector TR Chouhan of Jawad police station, the incident took place in Suwakheda. Rahul Nayak, 17, was accompanied by his sister to wash clothes in the pit but slipped into the water and began drowning.

When 16-year-old Tina Bheel, who was bathing nearby, heard her cries for help, she rushed to save Rahul but drowned. Both bodies were later recovered by police, who have since taken the sister’s report and filed a criminal complaint.
