Person seriously injured after shooting at McDonald’s in south Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – One person has suffered serious injuries following a shooting at a McDonald’s in south Charlotte early Sunday morning.

According to MEDIC, it happened around 1 a.m. at the restaurant on South Boulevard and Poindexter Drive.

MEDIC said the person who was shot was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

We are working to determine what led to the shooting and whether anyone has been arrested.
