OMAR DORSEY:

“Charles Williams”

Omar Dorsey is an American actor. He played the role of James Orange in the films “The Blind Side” (2009), “Django Unchained” (2012) and “Selma” (2014). In 2016, Dorsey began starring as Hollingsworth “Hollywood” Desonier on the Oprah Winfrey Network drama series Queen Sugar. Dorsey played small roles in a number of films early in his career, including Juwanna Mann, Starsky & Hutch and The Blind Side. In 2012, he played a supporting role in Django Unchained. On television, he has made guest appearances on “Emergency Room,” “The Shield,” “The Mentalist,” “Castle,” “Rizzoli & Isles” and “NCIS.” He had recurring roles on the Showtime drama Ray Donovan as Cookie Brown, the Fox comedy Rake and the HBO comedy Eastbound & Down. In 2014, Dorsey played civil rights activist James Orange in the historical drama Selma, directed by Ava DuVernay. In 2016, DuVernay cast Dorsey in her Oprah Winfrey Network drama series Queen Sugar. Dorsey appears as Sheriff Barker in the horror films Halloween, Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends.

Coke Daniels is a veteran filmmaker who has written, produced and directed ten films over the past two decades. His films have been distributed by FOX, Lionsgate, Miramax, THINKFilms, BET, Allblk and E-One. Two of his previous films, My Baby’s Daddy and Who Made The Potatoe Salad, are considered certified classics. .He has also developed several projects with Universal Pictures. In 2019, Coke wrote, produced and directed the romantic comedy His, Hers & The Truth, an official selection of the 2019 ABFF Film Festival, where it was acquired by BET. In 2020, Coke wrote, produced and directed the family dramedy Fruits of the Heart, which stars Wendy Raquel Robinson, Dorien Wilson, Lil Mama, Clifton Powell and many more. The film is currently airing on BET, Amazon Prime and other platforms. In 2021, Coke wrote, produced and directed the feature film Karen, starring Taryn Manning, Cory Hardrict and Jasmine Burke. The film is currently streaming on BET, Amazon Prime and other platforms.
