Woman killed in scooter accident in Flushing, Queens

The New York Police Department is investigating a fatal scooter accident in Queens at College Point Boulevard and Blossom Avenue

QUEENS, NEW YORK (September 28, 2024) – A woman has tragically died in a car accident in Flushing, Queens, near the intersection of College Point and Blossom Avenue.

New York City officials say the collision occurred around 10 a.m. Wednesday. An SUV driver turned left into the path of a 61-year-old woman on a scooter.

Paramedics were called to the scene to assist the victim. Despite life-saving measures, she later died due to her serious injuries.
