Pani’s filming wrapped up in February. According to certain speculations, the film’s release in September coincided with Onam, but the producers made no formal announcement. The highly anticipated film will now be released in cinemas on October 17th. Another update says that apart from Malayalam, Pani will also be released in five other languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi to reach a wider audience across India. If the film hits theaters on its scheduled date, it will be screened alongside Amal Neerad’s “Bougainvillaea.”

Pani: Everything you need to know
