Pedestrian killed in crash in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – One person is dead after being hit by a car in Lexington Saturday night.

Lexington police said they were called to Winchester Road and East Loudon around 9:30 p.m. Saturday for reports of a pedestrian being struck by a car.

The Fayette County coroner pronounced the person who was struck dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

The Crash Reconstruction Unit is still on scene investigating the crash.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
