Tragedy rocks Texarkana: Child’s death leads to parents’ arrest

In a heartbreaking turn of events, authorities responded to a 911 call this afternoon at a Nichols Drive apartment complex where a five-year-old boy was found lifeless. Tragically, despite immediate resuscitation efforts by emergency services, the child did not regain consciousness.

Texarkana, Texas, police received the first reports shortly after 2 p.m., prompting emergency services to respond quickly. The little boy was quickly taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to the situation shortly afterwards.

In a further step, investigators arrested Terry Robinson (35) and Destiny Culvahouse (24), the child’s parents, last night. Robinson is charged with murder, while Culvahouse is charged with injury to a child resulting in serious bodily injury or death. Both are currently being held at the Bi-State Justice Center awaiting further court proceedings; Bail has not been set for either individual at this time.
