Osimhen plays down fears of injury

Nigeria international and Galatasaray attacker Victor Osimhen has downplayed the injury he sustained on Saturday, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Belgium international Dries Mertens replaced the Super Eagles striker after he suffered a knock in the game against Kasimpasa.

In his post-match speech, Osimhen confirmed that he was the one who informed the coach about the blow but it was not anything serious.

My injury is not serious. I felt uncomfortable and told Okan Buruk. “That’s why I left the game,” Osimhen told BeIN Sports.

Victor Osimhen moved to Galatasaray from Napoli this summer on a loan deal for the remainder of the season.
